Hi all. I really wanted to create a grand web application that would be a sophisticated lookup tool and almost wiki-style collection of all the crap I've written for this as well as a character builder and online character application. But that's a ridiculous amount of work. Not super complicated. Just extremely time comsuming. And I don't have a lot of time. So, this page is just a collection of links to the documents I've written. No fancy character tool. No easy search. Just the collection of documents. I'm sorry.
This list of files will have links for the Microsoft Word doc and for the PDF. If you have Microsoft Word, I highly recommend choosing that version. When you open the file, you can set the option to view the "navigation pane". I wrote the documents to use the navigation marks so you'll have a table of contents you can click on to get around inside the document. I'm also putting a "version date" with each listing that tells you the last time the file was updated. If you see a date more recent than when you last got the docs, it has changes. I'll try to be good about telling you all about changes in Slack too.
| Campaign Starter | This document gives a fair amount of detail about the setting for our campaign specifically including when it happens relative to the movies and a few of the things I adjusted like making the clone wars be about clones instead of being about planets wanting to leave the Republic and incidentally... one side is comprised primarily of clones. |

| Species | There are SO MANY species in Star Wars. I have stats for a small number of them. If there's a species you know of that is not in my document yet and that you would like to play, I'm happy to add species to the doc. I just didn't go crazy making stats for dozens or hundreds of species. Slight update to Twi'leks (DX cost too little... so that changed from 12 to 15) and Echani get nerfed too hard from the last version, so I gave them something to help. |

| Languages | Star Wars has lots of languages, and most people seem to know a few languages. So, I adjusted the language rules a little, and provided what are essentially free points to learn your starting languages. I recommend reading this document so you understand what your options will be. Like species, this is another case where there are other languages that exist beyond what I've included in the document. For instance, every species has its primary native language and probably has a number of less used languages and probably some ancient languages. That's a lot of forms of communication and it's why a protocol droid might be useful. |

| Character Creation | Now that you have read the Campaign Starter (some of it at least), the Species doc, and the Languages doc, the next step is creating your character. I tried really hard to provide as much information as possible so you won't need the GURPS Basic Set, but if you want the rule book, it CAN help. I have copies and am always willing to answer questions too. Anyway, this document should give you what you need to make your character... except for the Force rules. Those have their own document. updated the starting point total and adjusted wealth advantages and wealth disadvantage. |

| The Force | Mostly clarifying edits. Added a couple options to a couple of the skills. Any big changes were to skills that none of you have yet, so we should be okay. The biggest clarifying edits were for Telekinesis and the child-skills of TK that require it as a prerequisite. Also adding the link to the TK calculator I wrote to this page. You should see it near the document links. |

| GURPS Combat Guide and Cheat Sheet |
This is my attempt at giving you what you need to help combat move along quickly. The Guide has the Cheat Sheet embedded on page 2, but if all you want is the Cheat Sheet, I have those for you too. The Guide includes the better explanation of the rules, and I do hope you'll all read through it... partly because it includes some additional information about how certain bits might be useful. And beyond the added nuance information, it tells you how GURPS combat progresses. |

| Melee Combat | The book version of Episode 3 did a really good job of making lightsaber combat feel like a martial art that had developed a lot over the centuries with notable depth and flavor. Being a martial artist, I appreciated that a lot and I decided I wanted to include some of that in my campaign setting. For those that want to use lightsabers, or even just melee weapons, the skills to use them now come with benefits that aren't in the normal rules. For example, the basic style of lightabser combat taught to Jedi is called Shii Cho (represented in GURPS by the Melee Weapon: Force Sword skill) and is a style that focuses on balanced defense and strikes to the easiest to reach targets... hands, arms, weapons, legs, and so on. It provides bonuses to hit those spots. The thinking is that destroying weapons or dismembering a foe is much more acceptable than killing a foe. And there are LOTS of flavor added skills in this document you may want to consider if your character concept includes melee weapons. |

| Character Sheet | A decent update to the sheet. Includes fixing the Force tidbits on the main sheet and adding a tiny jump section right above dodge to tell you how far your character can jump without any preparation or run. I fixed up the active defense calculation stuff too, so it should correctly figure out if you have Danger Sense and account for it. This might be a good final version of the sheet. Noah and Shannon separately asked where to put money... I didn't make a spot specifically. Read the money section in the top of the gear document, and then just use your gear sheet to track money. Use a line to say something like "cash" and then in the notes section say "$500 worth of Republic Credits", and then another line for "Republic Bank Account" with notes saying "$2000 credits, debit card with biometric access". Basically... call it gear and put 0 cost and 0 weight. |
